Why Choose Rushaga
With the widest selection of habituated families in the park, Rushaga offers the most flexibility on permit availability, particularly useful when booking closer to your travel dates. Getting There and Staying Nearby
Rushaga sits close to the Rwanda border and roughly an hour’s drive from Mgahinga Gorilla National Park, making it a natural base if you’re combining two gorilla treks or continuing overland into Rwanda. Several lodges here look directly out over the Virunga volcanoes.
